Description... This fun occasion is typically held following the 10:30 service on the first Sunday in June at a local park (all the particulars am publicized via the May and/or June issues of "The Good News"). Each family or single brings along a covered dish to share as well as items like cameras, Frisbees, volleyball, baseball gloves, plus folding chairs and/or blankets to sit on. The location is chosen with activities like places to walk, play areas, and comfortable accommodations in mind.

Are Additional Volunteers Needed / Wanted?... Always. Assistance with set-up and clean-up is always needed, help is always welcome at the grill and ideas for games are always appreciated

Time and Talent Commitment... Errands for condiments, etc. are generally run the week before; the day of the picnic, those who are setting up usually head to the park in the late morning to get the grill going and make any other arrangements that might be necessary.
