Youth Mission Update
On Sunday, December 2 at 6:00 at Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St. in Canfield there will be a meeting for those youth and parents interested in going on the 2008 Youth Mission Trip to Washington, DC. The dates are July 20, returning on the 25. The trip is presented by YouthWorks, which also hosted our trip to Milwaukee. That trip was well organized and the work was good. The cost would be about $100 as we are trying to raise the other $165 per person with fundraisers. 
So far I know Jeremiah, and Tom and Priscilla Hays are planning on attending. I think there are 18 going from Jennifer Williamson's church and she reserved 25 slots.
I hope more youth (and parents?) will consider making the trip. Mission trips are good work, making the world a little better! And they are fun, something the youth and adult chaperones will always remember! |
