Sesquicentennial News

The Sesquicentennial Committee is at work formulating the plans to celebrate St. John's 150th birthday. The focus will be on the past 5 generations of the people of St. John's to uncover the wonderful ways they used their creativity to meet the challenges of their times. We hope to rekindle that spirit to meet the challenges of the future. The committee with the vestry are working on specific ideas to be lifted up in the future.

We are not going to lose the current programs that are the fabric of the church but the Lord will be asking us to strengthen our witness as a holy place.

The congregation will be asked to participate in this process beginning at the annual parish meeting and breakfast, Sunday, January 20.
