All of this good news is made possible through God's grace and the generosity of faithful people like you who give to the Bishop's Annual Appeal.

Now we approach the campaign season for the Bishop's Annual Appeal 2008. I invite all Episcopalians to join me in this collective effort that is an essential income source for ECS and for strategic priorities that benefit the entire diocese. As one of our parish rectors noted, "so many worthwhile programs go forth in the diocese because of the resources provided through the Bishop's Appeal. It sustains the local work of the Episcopal Church in this day and time."

Our 2008 campaign goal is $250,000, and we are hopeful that with your help we can attain this goal.

In addition to the parochial campaigns in support of the Appeal, the Office of Stewardship and Development will follow up by directly communicating with parishioners in the Diocese of Ohio at subsequent times during the year.

Please know that I am tremendously thankful for your support and companionship.
