The Potter's Wheel is a daytime (8:30 am to 3:30 pm) education and career preparation program for women.

Criteria for Applicants:

• Age 18 or older.
• Submitted written application.
• Attendance minimum of two interviews to assess readiness to set and carry out educational goals.
• Free of chemical dependency for 6 months or as recommended by recovery agency referral.
• Passed urine screening for alcohol or drug abuse.

Services:

• Individualized goal setting and 90 day reviews.
• GED and basic skills education.
• Computer literacy education.
• Job readiness.
• Life skills.
• College preparation classes.
• Parenting programs.
• Budgeting.
• Counseling and case management.
• Approved site for cash assistance work hours
